Welcome to Bravo
At Bravo Transitional Housing, we are dedicated to changing lives through our innovative approach to community outreach and housing support. We believe in providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to grow and become confident in themselves and their ability to become positive members of their community.
We believe that with our 3 C's approach, (Compassion, Community and Commitment) we are able to create a comfortable living space that our guests are proud and excited to call home.
COMMUNITY:
As defined by the dictionary
Com·mu·ni·ty - a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
At Bravo Transitional Housing, we believe that fostering strong partnerships within our community is integral to providing comprehensive support to our guests. We collaborate with local nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers to ensure that our residents have access to safe and stable housing. Through these community alliances, Bravo creates a supportive and nurturing environment where our guests can thrive.
"Service to many leads to greatness"
~ Jim Rohn ~
COMPASSION:
As defined by the dictionary
Com·pas·sion -The feeling or emotion, when a person is moved by the suffering or distress of another, and by the desire to relieve it.
Simply stated, here at Bravo Transitional Housing, we believe in implementing The Golden Rule, "Treat people how you want to be treated" as a standard practice in every aspect of our operations and daily interaction with our guests and community.
COMMITMENT:
As defined by the dictionary
Com·mit·ment - the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.
We have an unwavering commitment to providing housing for those in need. Its at the core of our mission. We understand the critical importance of a stable home, and we relentlessly strive to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors receives the support they deserve. Whether faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges or resource constraints, we never lose sight of our goal to aid those in need. Through creative problem solving and tireless advocacy, we continue to break down barriers to housing. Our resolve is unshakeable and even in the most dire circumstances, we never give up on helping individuals find a place to call home.
HOUSING SOLUTIONS OFFERED BY BRAVO TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
At Bravo Transitional Housing, we are proud to offer two distinct types of living arrangements to cater to the diverse needs of our community: private stay and shared living. Our private stay option provides individuals with their own space, delivering the utmost privacy and personal solitude that can be vital for mental well-being and personal growth. It allows our residents to create a sanctuary that meets their specific needs, fostering a sense of independence and personal responsibility.
On the other hand, our shared living option emphasizes the value of community and support. Living with a roommate encourages social interaction, collaboration, and the development of important life skills such as communication and conflict resolution. Shared living encourages Peer-to-peer accountability which plays a vital role in fostering a culture of responsibility and mutual trust. This helps build stronger relationships, improve communication, and create an environment where everyone strives to meet their potential. When it comes to the economy, shared living also offers financial benefits, making housing more affordable for those who may be on a tight budget. Whether our residents choose the peace and autonomy of a single room or the camaraderie and cost-effectiveness of shared living, we ensure a safe, nurturing environment designed to support their journey toward stability and independence.

AMENITIES
At Bravo Transitional Housing, we understand that a house becomes a home through thoughtful attention to detail, including carefully chosen amenities that enhance comfort and well-being. Home amenities play an essential role in transforming a mere living space into a sanctuary where residents feel safe, supported, and inspired every day.
Everyone deserves a living environment that caters to both their physical and emotional needs, yet many living situations overlook the importance of amenities. At Bravo, we recognize that amenities are not mere luxuries; they are crucial elements that contribute to quality of life and personal growth. Whether it’s a well-equipped kitchen that encourages healthy eating and culinary exploration, common areas designed for relaxation and social interaction, or convenient laundry facilities that take the stress out of daily chores, each amenity is thoughtfully integrated to meet the diverse needs of our residents.
Furthermore, our commitment to providing these amenities goes beyond enhancing day-to-day living; it is about fostering a sense of pride and ownership among our residents. When individuals have access to high-quality amenities, they are more likely to feel respected and valued, thereby increasing their confidence and motivation to pursue their personal goals.

AGED OUT
Elderly
The term "elderly" generally refers to individuals who are in the later stages of life, typically characterized by being 65 years old or older. This age benchmark is often used in demographic studies, social policy, and healthcare to categorize individuals who may experience age-related changes in physical health, cognitive function, and social dynamics. The definition, however, is not solely reliant on chronological age but may also encompass aspects of biological, psychological, and social aging. This stage of life often requires special considerations and supports to ensure well-being, dignity, and a continued quality of life.
Homeless
Homelessness refers to the condition of individuals who lack a stable, permanent, and adequate residence.
People experiencing homelessness may live in shelters, on the streets, in vehicles, or in temporary housing arrangements. The causes of homelessness are complex and varied, including poverty, unemployment, lack of affordable housing, mental illness, addiction, and domestic violence. Being homeless often leads to a cycle of instability, as individuals face barriers to employment, healthcare, and social services, making it difficult to escape their situation and achieve long-term stability.
Veterans
A veteran is typically defined as any individual who has served in the armed forces of the United States. Veterans may be those who served during wartime or peacetime and may have served either voluntarily or as part of a draft. To qualify as a veteran for benefits or recognition, the individual usually must have been honorably discharged or released under honorable conditions from military service.
Reentry
Reentry from incarceration describes the process of individuals transitioning from prison or jail back into society. This transition includes reintegrating into their communities, securing stable housing and employment, and reestablishing connections with family and social support networks. Reentry programs typically offer services like job training, housing support, mental health counseling, and assistance in overcoming legal and social challenges. These efforts aim to lower recidivism rates and help individuals rebuild their lives after serving time
Aged Out
Aged-out refers to youth from the foster care system who have reached the age at which they can no longer remain in the system, typically between 18 and 21, depending on the state. Without the stability and support that a permanent family provides, these young adults often face significant challenges as they transition to independent living. Many struggle with securing stable housing, accessing education or job opportunities, and finding reliable support networks. Without proper guidance, they are at a higher risk of homelessness, unemployment, mental health issues, and involvement with the criminal justice system. Programs and resources aimed at supporting aged-out youth focus on helping them develop life skills, pursue education or employment, and build lasting relationships to ease their transition into adulthood.
Bravo Guests Requirements
but will I
qualify???
Residents of Bravo Transitional Housing are required to make monthly payments for utilities, rent/mortgage, additional amenities, and maintenance fees for any damages they may cause,
based on their ability to pay. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Bravo Transitional Housing welcomes all inquiries and will conduct a thorough screening process to assess whether a potential resident is a suitable match. A team member will contact you regarding availability. Eligible residents must have some form of government assistance, such as SSI, SSDI, veterans benefits, or retirement income. Bravo also accepts reliable seniors, veterans, and employed individuals experiencing homelessness. All residents must have a social worker or payee in place, though Bravo may serve as a payee for those without a trusted relative or friend.
Disqualifying Factors
We sincerely apologize that, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate everyone at this time. The following individuals are not eligible for admission:
- Applicants requiring mental health care or constant supervision.
- Applicants whose behavior poses a reasonable threat to their own health, safety, or welfare, or to that of others. This includes individuals who rely on medication to control behavior that, without such medication, could present a potential risk.
- Applicants needing medical treatment or a level of care that cannot be provided at our facility unless suitable alternatives are available nearby.
- Applicants with a history of alcoholism or drug abuse who may not be responsive to, or refuse to participate in, treatment programs.
- Applicants with a contagious disease.
- Applicants with felony convictions, unless they have demonstrated good character and behavior and have had no further criminal offenses for at least five years following their incarceration.
